"Hey, Xander!" Willow called. As her lifelong friend walked up, she asked, "What'd you get?"
He held up the plastic handgun, and Buffy frowned, "That's not a costume."
Xander shot Buffy a Look and said, "No, it's not. I know just who I'm going as, and I've got the perfect outfit, matches what he wore in the movie. I just needed this and one of the G-man's crossbows, and voila! Call me the Two-Dollar Costume King, baby!"
He whirled around, and Willow found herself staring at the business end of a crossbow. "Who the fuck are you, lady?" he demanded.
"Xander?" the redhead sputtered. "Don't you recognize me? I-it's me! Willow!"
"That's nice," he said impatiently, "but whoever the fuck this 'Xander' fellow is, I ain't him."
"Wha...?"
"The name's Crow. Jack Crow," he nodded. "Now what the fuck is going on in this fucking town?"
Yes, I do know John Carpenter's Vampires wasn't released yet, but in this 'ficverse, it was released earlier. Also, apologies if I didn't get Crow's characterization right. I saw Vampires on cable, which means censorship. *shrug* Sorry.
