Chapter 1

In 2 days, Xander was going to drive Cordelia to the bus station, so she could go to L.A. to be an actress. Until then, everyone was hanging out at Giles' until it was time to patrol. There was a knock on his door and Willow opened it. On the other side of the door was an old man wearing a long gray robe and another wearing a black robe, with a look of not being too impressed.

"Hello, is Rupert Giles here?"

"Sure. One moment, please." A little louder, Willow yells, "Giles. You have visitors!"

Giles walks over to the door to see his guests. When Giles sees who it is. He nearly faints. "Professor Dumbledore? Severus? Please come in. May I ask, what can I do for you?"

"Thank you Rupert. I'm here to talk to Mr. Harris."

"Him? He's just a muggle. He's probably just the bait the Slayer uses to hunt vampires." Xander was about to respond to the insult violently, which Dumbledore noticed, and decided to answer before things got out of hand.

"Mr. Harris has done just as much as anyone else here, Severus. When the Slayer here drowned, it was he who performed CPR on her, unknowingly starting the second Slayer line."

"He did that?"

"When Angelus returned, Mr. Harris stopped him from turning the Slayer while she was sick from the flu. Unarmed, no less. And he was her Key Guy in stopping Richard Wilkins."

"How do you know this, Professor?" Giles was confused by Dumbledore's knowledge of what has happened in Sunnydale.

"When I learned that you were getting a Slayer, I had an owl keep me up to date on what was going on here. When you allowed Ms. Summers to have friends, they each got an owl. That's how I know. Ok, now for the reason we are here." Albus turned to Xander, and knew what words to say to get Xander to consider his proposal.

"Mr. Harris."

"Please, call me Xander."

"Xander, there is a great evil where we're from, and I have information that He has considered creating anti-magic fields and attacking with guns.

I am offering to access your soldier memories and have you teach my students how to fight without magic."

"What type of school do you run?"

"Hogwarts. It's a school for wizards and witches." At this statement, Willow wondered why she was never asked to attend. "We teach all about magic, but when the school was started, we never thought about weapons training and hand to hand combat. If your friends need your help, we can get you back here rather quickly. So, what do you think? Will you accept our offer and help us?"

"I teach what I want at the speed I want?"

"Yes."

"What you're asking I'll need a lot of room, maybe even a building." Albus chuckled at this.

"I'm sure we can come up with something. Anything else?"

"Two things. Will these skills be permanent?" Dumbledore nodded. "Can you create the room where no one except God can use magic?" Again, Dumbledore agreed. "Ok. You have a deal." The living room of Rupert Giles was filled with a blinding white light as Xander Harris' soldier memories were being returned.

And across the street, a man in a bad pimp suit was smiling.
