Act One
One Step Closer

Alexander Harris looked up at the ceiling and smiled.

Anyone who knew the ex-carpenter would have immediately noticed the difference. It wasn't his facial expression, or his body language that gave it away; it was his eyes. The deep, warm, caring dark brown had frozen over, leaving the impression that whatever was behind those eye was no longer alive.

He looked down and idly traced a pattern in the blood on the floor. The Slayer in Training, Kennedy, had put up such an exhilarating fight. She had punched and kicked, and used all the tricks that the Slayer had taught her- but all to no avail. Xander had simply accepted the punishment to start with, then back-handed the bitch across the face, causing her to spin twice in midair before landing heavily on the concrete floor.

"Don't give up," Xander had taunted the now bleeding teenager. "Maybe if you scream someone will save you."

"Why are you doing this?"

Xander had thought for a second, and then grinned. "Because I can."

The dark-haired man then moved over the fallen teenager, tearing off her clothes. He reveled in the screams of pain and anguish from the trainee Slayer as he took what he wanted from her. When he had finished, and Kennedy simply lay still, catatonic, he performed a simple spell to rip a part of her soul from her body, and absorb it into his own.

The agony pierced the dark place the SiT had hidden herself in, ripping away the comfort her mind had created by separating her consciousness from her body.

She screamed endlessly, her back arching, as she felt something torn from her very soul.

It was almost merciful when Xander casually slipped a sacrificial dagger into her heart, finally killing her and ending her torment.

He leant down and licked the smooth skin of her stomach, enjoying the taste of the blood he had drawn from her.

Without a backward look, he stood and walked out of the basement of the abandoned warehouse. It had been ridiculously easy to get the Wiccan's girlfriend alone, then even easier to knock her unconscious with a single punch.

Now he had a slightly more challenging task: the red-headed Witch had something he wanted, and he was definitely going to get it.

Xander hopped into his car and (after a brief stop at his apartment to get clean and change into clothes that weren't spattered with SiT-blood) returned to Slayer Central.

When he got there, Willow was pacing the living-room, visibly distraught, and she was interrogating him as soon as she saw him. "Xander! Have you seen Kennedy?"

"'Fraid not, Wills," Xander said calmly.

"Damn," Willow muttered, looking increasingly worried.

"What's up, Willow?" Buffy asked as she walked into the room.

"Kennedy's missing."

Buffy blanched. "She was the last one."

"I know," Willow snapped. "The new Big Bad has been picking us off one by one. We're next."

Vi had been the first SiT to disappear, only to be found three days later, in an abandoned warehouse, inside an inverted pentagram with a sacrificial dagger embedded in her heart. Her face had been locked in a silent, agonized scream, dried tear-tracks ringing her eyes.

Kennedy had been the last SIT left, the rest slaughtered methodically like cattle. The Scoobies hadn't been so helpless in years. And now? Willow couldn't help but imagine the worst.

"It might not be that," Xander suggested. "Look, why don't you and I go for a drive now, just look around, she might just be late and her cell phone battery is dead."

Willow nodded slowly, "Thanks."

Xander smiled, "Anything for one of my girls."

*****

They drove around together for about half an hour before Xander pulled over in the same abandoned area of Sunnydale that he had taken Kennedy.

"Why have you stopped?" Willow asked.

"Because you have something I want."

"What?" Willow demanded, frowning. She was suddenly feeling a little vulnerable, a feeling she had never experienced before with Xander.

Xander grinned, and the Wiccan started to panic.

"You're not Xander!" She desperately reached for the door handle, trying to get out of the car.

"Oh, but I am," Xander purred. "I made a few minor lifestyle changes and look: no longer a Zeppo!"

"Let me go, Xander. Please, we can forget this ever happened -"

"Oh, Willow," Xander replied gently. "I told you, I need something from you, and I'm not going to stop till I get it."

"What do you want?" The car door was locked, trapping her.

"Did you ever wonder what it felt like to have your mind raped by your little 'Blank Slate' episode?"

"What?" Willow asked, unable to keep up with the way the conversation had turned.

"I'm going to rape that pretty little head of yours, and get what I want."

"But -" Willow started, pulling her magic into her and preparing to strike.

Xander didn't wait; he simply moved forward and placed his hands on her head. He ignored the punches she feebly threw at him and poured his mind into hers, casually smashing her defenses. As brutally as he could, he punched a huge hole in her mind, enjoying the pain and degradation that the Witch was feeling as Xander opened her up completely.

//It's a hell of a mess in here, Wills, don't you ever clean up after yourself?// Xander said, deep in her mind. Almost absently, he knocked out her ability to communicate back with him in words.

Her mind exploded into an agonized panic at that; he'd known that the worst thing he could do to her was render her totally helpless, just as she'd been in her pre-witchcraft days. Her mental anguish was absolutely delicious.

Xander leisurely waded through her thoughts and memories, pausing occasionally when something interesting caught his eye. One such recent scene flashed before him, bringing a leering grin to his face.

//Who would have thought an innocent little girl like you would enjoy Kennedy doing that?//

He felt her wailing, trying to fight him, and it almost made him laugh while he breezed through her beaten mind lackadaisically.

//Ready?// he finally asked with a mental smirk, finding what he was looking for. Pausing for a moment, he let her realize where he was and what he was about to do. He didn't wait for her reply, and ripped out her magical core. All of her magical knowledge, power and ability was removed from her mind in a single second, and absorbed by his.

He pulled out of her mind, then, and looked at her. Her bright green eyes were now dull, all sign of intelligence and life, of the Willow he had known, were gone.

"I want you to go inside, take all your clothes off, and make love to your girlfriend." His voice was commanding and insistent, and it moved through the now defenseless Wiccan with ease, controlling her mind completely.

Robotically, Willow climbed out of the now unlocked car and made her way inside, guided by Xander's mind. She moved down the stairs to the basement, and smiled as she saw her girlfriend. She undressed and knelt down next to the body, starting to kiss her dark haired lover. As Kennedy didn't respond, she tried harder, completely unaware that the girl had been dead for some time, and that she was lying inside a pentagram with a sacrificial knife through her heart.

"Hello, Police? I've just seen something awful, in the old MacDonald's Farm warehouse on West 23. There was blood everywhere, it looked like some weird sci-fi movie sacrifice," Xander said in a hysterical voice, before hanging up the payphone.

With an evil grin, Xander threw out his hands and laughed as black lightning erupted from his fingertips, causing some nearby steel barrels to explode.

*****

With the SiT's out of the way, and Willow incapacitated and soon to be incarcerated by the police, Xander decided that Anya was next on his list.

He drove to the Magic Box, entering just before closing time.

"Hello, Xander. Are you here to complete your capitalistic duty?"

"'Fraid not Ahn," Xander said, sitting on the front counter. After a moment, he frowned. "What's that noise?"

"What noise?" the ex-vengeance demon asked, looking around.

"A weird kind of scratching noise. It's coming from behind that door. Can't you hear it?" Xander feigned concern.

"What do you think it is?" Anya was starting to hear the noise now.

"It sounds too big to be mice, and it doesn't sound like rats." Xander got off the counter.

Anya's eyes grew, as realization struck. "I know what it is - it's rabbits!"

From behind the door, they could both hear a soft chanting.

"Late last night and the night before, Bunny Rabbits, Bunny Rabbits knocking at the door, can't keep them out with your picket fence, don't know if they exist in the physical sense,"

The voice was deep and eerie, resounding in Anya's head as her worst nightmare came to life. She forgot about Xander, she forgot about *everything*, knowing only the sound of the voice.

"Late last night and the night before, Bunny Rabbits, Bunny Rabbits, knocking at my door, they're in my head and the hotel too, lots of bad things those Bunny Rabbits do."

Anya's breathing increased as she started to hyperventilate; full-blown panic setting in, she grabbed a sword from the wall, holding it in a hand that was shaking badly. She looked around wildly, trying to master the urge to flee.

"Late last night and the night before, Bunny Rabbits, Bunny Rabbits knocking at the door, you can't do nothing once you've been heard, cause then the Bunny Rabbits got you for sure."

Anya screamed, and flung open the door, slashing with the sword, trying to catch them all. Every time she seemed to slice one, it simply divided and became two; all her fighting did was increase their numbers. Desperately, she tried harder, fighting her nightmares... but it wasn't working.

Before her eyes, two rabbits jumped together and merged, becoming one rabbit twice as large as before. Two more jumped in, and it grew again.

Anya backed against the wall, realizing what was happening. The door was now blocked; she was trapped in the room. With terror in her eyes, Anya did the only thing she could think of. She reversed the sword and disemboweled herself.

As she fell to the floor, the rabbits disappeared as if they had never existed.

Looking down at her bloody, eviscerated body, Xander shrugged, grinned and then walked out of the Magic Box, whistling tunelessly, turning the lights off as he went, and switching the sign on the door to read 'closed'.

*****

The ex-carpenter decided that it was time for him to claim his partner.

He cast a spell, finding that Willow's raw power made it so much easier, and located the pretty teenager, who was enjoying a night at the Bronze. He drove there, only stopping at the Mall to get himself some new clothes more appropriate to the recent changes in his life.

Dressed all in black, and looking stylish and deadly, the brunet stalked through the doors to the nightclub. He controlled the automatic reaction to wince as his heightened sense of smell and hearing made everything a lot louder and a hell of a lot more distasteful.

Xander spotted Dawn instantly; the girl was dancing with a guy, a guy who wasn't *him*. He growled; the long-haired girl was *his*, and it was time she realized that.

He continued his fluid hunt for his mate across the dance floor, the people automatically parting before him as they subconsciously recognized a predator amongst them.

"Beat it," he growled at the kid dancing with his Dawn.

The teen started to protest... and then paled as he saw Xander's eyes.

"What the hell do you think you are doing?" Dawn protested angrily, watching the boy she had asked to dance run like the hounds of hell were on his heels.

Xander grinned at the long-haired girl unrepentantly. "Dancing with you," he said, reaching out and pulling her a lot closer.

Dawn had no idea that Xander could dance, and all reports had made him out to be an atrocious dancer, spastic at best... yet here he was, spinning her around like it was second nature.

"You grew up almost without me noticing," Xander said, his breath brushing against her ear.

"I'm not a kid anymore," Dawn agreed, shivering at the sensation. Nothing in her life had prepared her for this sort of attention, and the rush of hormones was doing strange things to her mind, especially since it was because of the guy she had fantasized about for the past few years.

"No, you're not," Xander agreed, bucking his hips against her, enjoying the startled gasp the contact brought from her. "And to prove it, I'm going to kiss you now, like you've never been kissed before. I'm going to explore your mouth and soul."

Dawn moaned softly, then groaned as Xander moved his leg between hers and stopped dancing. She tilted her head back, and looked up at him as he slowly lowered his head, capturing her lips.

The kiss started out gentle, as Xander's tongue gently touched her lips. Nervously, Dawn opened her mouth, letting him in.

Xander timed his mental attack to perfection as his tongue dueled with hers; he subtly encouraged the feelings of lust she had, increasing them beyond belief. Next, he moved on to the feelings she had for him, the love she had experienced as a teenager and changed it, reinforcing it, making it the single most important thing in her life. The rest was easy, compulsions to obey any and every whim he might have, removing her ability to question him or her own actions. As he finished kissing her, he had turned the teenager into the perfect slave.

"I'm yours," she said softly, rubbing herself against his leg. "Mind, Body and Soul."

Xander grinned and kissed her again.

*****

"You're going to help me get rid of Spike," Xander told Dawn as they stood in front of the Summers Home. His enhanced senses told him Buffy and Spike were both sleeping in their respective rooms, and Faith was still on her patrol on the other side of town, giving them plenty of time.

"Shall I kill him for you?"

"Oh, no; I've got a *much* better plan for you." Xander smiled wickedly, holding her close.

*****

"Aaaaggghhhh! Stop it, please, stop it!" Dawn's cries were a perfect mix of desperation, agony and pleading.

Xander and Buffy jumped out of their respective beds at the same time, and ran towards Dawn's room, Xander fighting a smirk. Slayer speed meant Buffy was there first, and she opened the door.

There was a stunned silence as she took in the room.

Dawn was lying on her bed, tears in her eyes and a heartbroken look on her face, naked apart from the fragments of her top; her torn panties lay on her desk, next to her schoolbooks. Spike was lying atop her, equally naked, blood dripping from one of his claws, a shocked look on his face.

"This isn't -" Spike started to deny, but was cut off as an absolutely enraged Slayer took a few steps forwards and pulled the vampire off of her sister. Buffy threw him into the wall, and then caught him as he bounced off, painfully.

"Look after Dawn, Xander." Buffy's voice was commanding, but at the same time, somehow empty, as she sunk into the state of mind of a true Slayer for the first time ever.

She grabbed Spike by the throat, and carried him out of the door, before throwing him down the stairs.

Xander smiled, and ran his hands over Dawn's scratches, bruises and cuts, healing them.

"Thank you," Dawn said, delighted that he would care enough to heal her after manually forcing a magically comatose Spike to inflict most of the damage. She didn't mind, though; watching Xander rip her clothes into shreds had been very arousing.

"Come on; let's not miss the end of the show."

They walked downstairs together, Dawn not bothering to cover herself as Xander hadn't told her to.

Buffy held Spike down on the floor, and methodically punched him in the face, breaking his nose, his cheekbones, shattering his eye sockets. Without a hint of mercy, she moved further down his body, breaking his collar-bone, but taking care not to break his ribs, lest one of them accidentally puncture his heart and dust him prematurely, then broke both of his arms at the elbow.

She stood, placing one foot on his shoulder and grabbed his arm. With a violent twist, she tore the arm out of its socket, destroying all the tendons, leaving the appendage completely useless, before repeating her actions on his remaining arm.

Spike screamed and begged, but Buffy didn't care, didn't listen. She had dealt with his attempted rape of her, presuming that it had just been crossed wires, but seeing him attempting to rape her sister had been a short, sharp way of extinguishing anything even remotely resembling a feeling for him. She was determined to make him pay for everything that her mind suddenly remembered.

Finally, she held him up against the far wall and slowly started to push a table leg into his chest. She was taking her time, deliberately using the bluntest peace of wood she could find.

Spike's swollen eyes widened as he looked over her shoulder, and saw Xander with his arm around Dawn, his hand idly stroking up and down her naked back. Xander watched with a smile as comprehension appeared in his hated enemy's eyes, as the vampire finally realized exactly who had set him up, who had arranged his execution.

Xander's victory over Spike was complete in that moment, knowing he had manipulated Buffy into killing the creature who had gone as far as getting his soul back for her.

For Spike, the fact that it was Buffy, the woman the vampire had been in love with for years, killing him, was almost too much. Spike's eyes died, showing none of the fight, the ruthless arrogance that was his trademark, giving Xander what he wanted mere seconds before the Slayer finally pushed the table leg into his heart.

With Spike dusted, Buffy's killing fury dissipated, leaving her to collapse to the floor as she realized what she had done.

It was easy for Xander to walk over to the Slayer and console her. It was even easier to take advantage of her mental state, and once kissing her, it took a far less effort than he had expended on Dawn to make him the center of her universe.

Deep inside Buffy's mind, he found what he suspected was there, her innermost desires. She wanted to be dominated, she wanted to have her decisions made for her, allowing her to go through life simply fighting and fucking, too.

Giles, while not a partner, had been the first strong male in her life; he had made it easier by telling her who to kill and where, taking the responsibility for the fight.

Angel, had been older, so much older, and mature. The souled vampire had always known what to do in a fight, and she had loved that.

Then there had been Riley, he had been a commander in the Army, trained to know what to do.

Finally Spike. The vampire had taken it a step further, subtly encouraging her dependency on him, removing any last thoughts about thinking for herself.

Now Xander finished the conditioning. All of her thoughts and feeling were directed solely at him, encouraged and reinforced so that she *knew* that he would think for her, tell her who to kill, who to sleep with. She would no longer need to even *pretend* to think; her new master would take care of it all for her.

*****

"What the hell is going on here?" Faith demanded, walking in to find a naked Dawn, watching an obviously aroused Buffy in Xander's arms and kissing him eagerly and a pile of dust in a corner, a small microchip barely visible.

"Ahh, Faith," Xander purred, moving away from Buffy and ignoring her pout. He moved over to Dawn, pulling the naked girl against him and kissed her briefly. "Things have changed around here, and I was wondering if you'd like to join us."

Faith frowned; she wasn't stupid, and something about Xander was ringing her Slayer senses.

"Sorry, Xan, I've done my trip to the dark side. Got no wish to go back."

"I thought you'd say that," Xander said with a frown, and nodded once.

Buffy, who had used the distraction of the conversation to move, kicked Faith hard in the back.

The black-haired Slayer stumbled forward, only to be caught as Xander grabbed her around the throat. He lifted her high in the air, with an ease that stunned the Slayer, and slammed her to the ground as hard as he could.

Faith groaned in pain, then found herself pinned to the floor as Buffy and Dawn each held one of her arms. She tried to pull her legs up to kick at Xander, but a knife to her throat quickly persuaded her that an alternate plan of laying still was definitely the one to follow.

Xander pulled the knife down the dark Slayer's chest, splitting her tight t-shirt.

"If you wanted a quick roll, Xan, all you had to do was ask."

Xander smiled cheerfully at her bravado, smelling the fear it was meant to mask. His eyes seemed to grow as he looked at her, before he touched her head, immobilizing her from the waist down.

He used the knife again, this time cutting the skin, causing Faith to scream in agony and swear fulsomely at him.

"Keep her still," Xander commanded the two sisters.

They held on tighter, each putting one hand on their captives' shoulders to keep her down.

With quick, sure movements, the brunet ex-carpenter drew a quick pattern with the blood of the Slayer on her chest, then started to chant softly. Faith's scream rose in volume as she felt every single cell in her body suddenly turn to fire. Even after her vocal chords gave out, she continued to try. Slowly, a bright blue energy seemed to seep out of the agonized girl's body and accumulate in a small cloud, to hover in front of her torturer.

"Pretty, isn't it?" he remarked to Dawn with a smile.

"What is it?" Dawn asked softly.

"It's the essence of a Slayer. It's what gives them the healing, the strength, the ability to sense vampires, the lot. Do you want some?"

Dawn nodded eagerly.

Xander smiled and leant forwards, inhaling the energy through his mouth. He turned and kissed Dawn, sharing it with her.

The young girl shivered in pleasure, and threw herself at him, wanting as much of the essence as he was willing to give her. When the power had been transferred, he rolled onto his back, as Dawn straddled him, and tried to put everything she had into the kiss, thanking him over and over again.

Buffy kept holding the bleeding, unconscious Slayer on the floor, watching with a smile as her naked sister kissed Xander.

Xander finally broke the kiss. "How do you feel?"

"Amazing," Dawn whispered, then kissed his lips softly. "Thank you."

Xander reached out and stroked her hair. "You're mine, for eternity."

"What are we going to do with her?" Dawn asked, looking over at Faith.

Xander shrugged. "I'll kill her and dump her body somewhere."

"Can I keep her, master?" Buffy asked respectfully. "I've always wanted a pet."

Xander laughed, and reached over, touching Faith's head. A few seconds later he smiled. "She's yours, as long as you want her. She'll wake up in a couple of days, when her body remembers how to be normal again. 'Til then, put her in Spike's old bed."

Buffy nodded, and easily picked up the ex-Slayer, tossing her over her shoulder and heading for the basement.

*****

Xander woke up sandwiched between Buffy and Dawn and smiled. He scooted out from between them, dressed, and walked down the stairs to start making his morning coffee. As he did so, he considered how he had to deal with Giles, next. The ex-watcher was due over in a few minutes.

He smiled as he made his final decision and called up to the two sisters to get dressed and join him downstairs. When they arrived shortly afterwards, he explained the plan to them both.

Xander and Dawn walked into the kitchen, where the dark-haired man lifted his new lover on to the work surface, moved between her legs, and started to kiss her. Dawn responded eagerly, running her hands over his back and up into his hair. She tightened her legs around him, holding him close. They only stopped kissing as they heard the door open, and Giles coming in.

They listened as Buffy told him the latest developments; Spike dead and Willow and Kennedy both now missing.

"Hit me," Dawn said with a smile.

"Why?" Xander asked.

"It'll make my story more believable."

Xander nodded and hit her in the face, splitting the girl's lip.

She grinned at him, licked some of the blood onto her tongue, then kissed him again to share the taste. She hopped off the counter, walked to the door and opened it, before slamming it shut. She turned and ran into the living room

"Dawn, what's the matter?" Buffy asked, shock in her voice.

Dawn threw herself at Giles and started to cry.

Awkwardly, he started to stroke her back. "Dawn, whatever is the problem?"

"I know who it is who's killing everyone," she sniffled. "I just got away from him."

"Who?" the ex-librarian asked.

Buffy moved over and cuddled her sister, absently moving Giles' arm to one side, as Dawn 'emotionally' clutched his other.

"Me!" Xander said, standing in the doorway.

Giles tried to react, but the two girls were in his way. When he went to move, Buffy pulled one arm back, Dawn the other. It took them a very short time to tie him to an armchair securely.

"What have you done, you bloody irresponsible idiot?" It didn't take long for the Ripper to arrive.

Xander smiled at him. "Why Giles, how very impetuous of you. Surely you should try and talk your way out first, before you move to the insults.

"It all started a few weeks ago, when I realized I was fed up with fighting for my life. It didn't take much work to release my inner beast. Of course, in my case, my inner beast is a hyena, who's also an *outer* beast. It took me a few days to sort that out in my mind, let me tell you.

"Anyway, I got bored with that pretty soon, so I opened myself up a little more, and brought back the soldier guy - or so I thought. Only problem was, it wasn't just a guy, it was a warrior spirit. I managed to merge the two beasts, and myself, after some serious work, and hey presto: new improved Xander.

"But it still wasn't enough. So I killed Vi, taking some of her lovely blood and her Slayer essence, so rich and full of promise, and that helped. The rest of the SiT's were easy; I'd pick them up after patrol, take them somewhere we could have fun, drain their essence, then kill them.

"Then, yesterday, I destroyed Willow's mind. It turns out that I have always had quite the talent for magic - something to do with why all the spells around me would go wrong; it was my own talent interfering. Anyway, I stole her powers, and then framed her for the murders.

"I went to the Magic Box next, and persuaded Anya that Madame Butterfly had the right idea.

"Dawn was next: my hyena wanted a mate - several of them actually - and while Buffy is the Slayer, Dawn has so much more potential. Not to mention raw power.

"After Buffy staked Spike, I stole the Slayer essence from Faith, and gave it to my mate."

Dawn smiled and moved over to Xander, rubbing herself against him. Buffy followed, quite happy with her subordinate place in the Pack. She no longer even had a need to try and think for herself, her Master was doing that for her.

Xander smiled, hugging Dawn to him, loving the look of revulsion and horror on the Watchers face.

"What are you?"

Xander smirked, and in a sing-song voice replied, "I am, whatever you say I am."

He released the two girls and walked towards Giles, his knife suddenly appearing in his hands.

"I just wanted you to know that *you* were partly responsibly for what I am... and that, with two Slayers on my side and the Scooby Gang gone, no else on this planet will be able to stop me."

Giles spat in his face.

Xander laughed softly, and reached out, touching his head. With a smile, he dived in to the ex-Watcher's mind. It was a lot tidier than Willow's, much better organized.

//I'm going to use this information to make sure the Council never gets its hand on a Slayer, again. When Buffy or Dawn dies, I will be there first with an offer. Join me, or Die. The fifth Dark Age is coming, Giles. It's MY time, now and there's nothing you can do about it.//

Giles grit his teeth, and started to fight, using every part of his mind that he could, to try and repel the invader.

Xander growled softly, his lips pulling back into an eerie smile. He felt the challenge to his dominance, and responded with overwhelming force. The ex-carpenter smashed through the barriers in front of him, causing irreparable damage. He acted as fast as he could, pulling all the information he could out of Giles' mind, before it collapsed completely.

He managed to get out just in time, and stood panting. Out of respect for the fight he'd been given, he thrust the dagger into his ex-mentor's heart, killing his body as surely as he had just killed his mind.

Dawn carefully walked over to him, and pulled him into a hug. She smiled as she felt him relax against her.

"That was close," he mumbled into her shoulder.

He suddenly smiled, as he started to catalogue all the information he had gained. The best thing was the access numbers for the Watcher's Council bank accounts. He'd have to transfer all of their assets to new accounts, there was no sense in taking a chance that any other possible survivors might know the account numbers, too.

A few short phone calls, and a drink later, he told the two girls to get ready for a trip Los Angeles, but not before healing Dawn's face.

*****

The drive to LA had been quiet as the brown-eyed man had planned what he was going to do to Angel. Eventually, an evil smile formed as he came up with the perfect revenge.

"You know what to do?" he asked Buffy, who nodded. She moved over to the receptionist, and introduced herself and asked for Angel.

Xander turned himself and Dawn invisible. They followed silently as Buffy was led up to the souled vampires' office.

"What are you doing here?" Angel asked, surprised to see the Slayer.

Buffy grinned happily. "Willow found something that I had to share with you."

"What is it?"

She pulled out a necklace. "I can't remember what she called it, but it said it would lock your soul to your body so it could never be released."

Angel's eyebrows shot up, and he looked at it with unhidden longing. "Really?"

Buffy nodded and passed it to him. "I've missed you, all these years. Why don't you put it on, and we'll take it for a test drive."

Angel let his hormones override his common sense and pulled the necklace on. He instantly felt a small comforting heat from it and smiled. He looked up, to find that Buffy had already pulled off her top and was walking towards him. He gulped, then grinned as she sat on his lap and kissed him hard.

*****

Outside the door, Xander smiled and pulled Dawn away.

"How come she gets to help and I don't?" the green eyed teenager asked softly.

"Because you're mine, and *only* mine. I don't care about her," Xander growled.

Dawn flushed with pleasure and kissed him hard.

Xander smiled against her lips, guiding her invisibly down the corridors to a familiar scent. They walked through the door as if it wasn't there, and looked down at the comatose seer on the bed.

"Hey, Cordy," Xander said with a grin. "I heard that you're a direct link to the Powers That Be. Well, when you see them, give them a message from me. 'Game Over'." He reached out and placed one of his hands around her throat, crushing it completely even as he kissed Dawn again.

With Cordelia dead, Xander and Dawn leisurely walked back to Angel's office.

*****

They walked in and it was instantly obvious that the amulet hadn't worked: Angelus was back.

"Angelus, Old Buddy," Xander said, as he made the two of them visible again. "I knew that stupid vampire wouldn't be able to resist the chance to get his rocks off in safety."

"It was a setup?" the evil vampire asked, confused. "By who?" Angelus looked at Xander. "You, the Half-Pint White Knight?" He chortled. "Please. You've got to be kidding me."

"Angie, Angie, Angie, do you remember what I told you all those years ago?"

"Huh?"

"'You're going to die, and I'm going to be there,'" Xander reminded mockingly. "Buffy, if you would do the honors."

"Yes, Master." Buffy, still naked, calmly palmed a stake from the desk and shoved it through Angelus' stomach and up into his backbone, crippling the vampire and making him drop helplessly onto the carpet.

Dawn smiled and moved over to stand between his legs.

"He lost his soul using *that* little thing?" she smirked at her older sister, who shrugged her shoulders, looking chagrined.

Dawn then dropped to her knees, hard, landing square on his crotch.

Angelus squealed, proving that Dawn had hit him perfectly.

Buffy straddled his chest, and with pleasure backhanded him across the face a few times. "I never realized just how bad you were in bed, what with you being my first... until last night, when Xander, my Master, showed me what a *real* man can do."

Angelus spluttered, but any retort was forestalled by Dawn.

"This little piggy went to market," she sang happily, and in a departure from the children's song, forced the vampire's right hand back as far as it would go, braced his elbow against her knee, and pushed hard, using her newly acquired Slayer strength to snap his forearm.

"This little piggy went home -" Dawn twisted the same arm violently, as her sister had earlier, destroying his shoulder completely.

"This little piggy had roast beef -" Dawn repeated her earlier action with his left hand.

"And this little piggy had none!" She destroyed his other shoulder.

Angelus was completely vamped out. He met Xander's eyes... then looked away, wincing. The darkness he could sense within the grinning brunet was almost blinding.

Dawn moved over the naked Vampire, sliding down slowly and grinning at him.

Angelus gulped.

"And this little piggy..." Dawn sang softly, a completely innocent look on her face. Almost childishly, she wrapped her hand around his genitalia. "Went..." She tightened her hand, then ripped back as hard as she could while her sister held the vampire in place.

Angelus' howling screams echoed loudly; he convulsed on the floor, eyes rolling backward in his head.

"- All the way home," the brunette girl finished with a smile.

Xander and Buffy applauded. The pack leader walked over and kissed his mate, highly impressed.

Dawn tugged on Xander's hand. "Can I kill him now, please?"

Xander thought about it, but Buffy interrupted him. "But I want to kill him," she whined.

Xander smiled. "You can do it together."

The two sisters gripped a stake together, and leant over the immobile vampire. They kissed each other as they pushed the stake down, removing the last barrier between Xander and global domination.
