Anya stared at the spell and winced. She wasn't too excited about the price she would have to pay.. but she knew it was the only option.
*Here goes nothing...*
She summoned the demon who had made them all sing before and then braced herself for the singing that was to come. As the demon appeared... he smirked at her and moved closer.
"Why have you summoned me... are you looking for some fun...."
Anya raised her hands.
"No singing... not right now... I have an offer for you..."
The demon nodded at Anya and smiled.
"Sounds good to me.... nice not having to be mean.... if I do this gig... you'll be my.... queen...?"
Anya nodded and sighed.
"Yes... so, do we have a deal or not?"
The demon smiled wider.
"Deal... have them come to the Bronze at 8.. and have them not be late... for this will be great... so they shouldn't hesitate..."
Anya groaned and then nodded.
"Right... no problem... now shoo."
The demon laughed and faded away... leaving Anya to call Xander and Buffy and have them meet her at the Bronze at 8.
Xander entered the Bronze and was startled to see it empty.
*That's strange... I wonder if it is closed and someone forgot to lock the door...*
He shrugged and then sat down at their table... to wait for the others...
Sometime later... Buffy entered and Xander looked at her as she crossed over to him. As she moved across the Bronze, Xander felt something come over him. All of his feelings for her came flooding back and music came rushing into his head... and, with a deep breath, he began to sing...
"She... walks in.. and I'm suddenly a hero. I'm taken in... my hopes begin to rise...."
Buffy looked across the dance floor and saw Xander. Tonight there was something so different about him... and it spoke to her... and in that instant.. she took was moved to song...
"Look... at me... can't you tell.. I'd be so thrilled... to see.... the message in your eyes..."
Xander stood and moved toward Buffy, continuing to sing...
"You make it seem I'm so close to my dream and then suddenly its all there...."
As the reached each other, they began to sing together...
"Suddenly... the wheels are in motion... and I.... am ready to sail... any ocean... suddenly... I don't need the answers... cause I.... am ready to take all my chances... with you...."
Xander stared into her eyes and poured out all of his love for her...
"And how... can I.. feel you're all that matters. I'd rely.... on anything you say......"
Buffy smiled up at Xander and joined her heart with his...
"I'll... take care... that no illusions shatter... if you dare... to say what you should say...."
Xander smiled wider and nodded...

As they danced, Xander spun Buffy and sang out louder in joy...
"Why... do I feel... so alive.. when you're near... there's no way... any hurt.. can get through...."
Buffy beamed at Xander and her voice joined his...
"Longing... to spend... every moment of the day... with you.... with you....."
As their dancing came to a close.. they pulled closer to each other and sang softer...
"Suddenly... the wheels are in motion... and I.... am ready to sail... any ocean... suddenly... I don't need the answers.. cause I.... am ready to take all my chances... with you... you......"
As they finished singing.. Xander leaned in to kiss Buffy on the lips... expressing his unending love to her... not noticing the two people standing in the corner.
"You did a good job... I think it worked."
The demon nodded.
"And my payment...?"
Anya nodded and grabbed his arm.
"Let's go... I am in the need for many orgasms.."
The demon nodded, smiled, and then they both vanished... leaving the new couple to themselves.
