Feedback: Yes! It is craved like food and absolutely necessary for me to get better so take a moment to write me a few words.

Distribution: Xanderzone, Xanderhalloween, Twisting the Hellmouth and, all others please ask first, I'll probably say go ahead but it would be nice to know beforehand where my story ends up.

Standing on the porch of Buffy's home Xander nervously patted himself down, checking his costume. After all this would be the first Halloween without Jesse and the first one where the trio hadn't met at Willow's to get dressed and checked for completeness of the costumes by Willow or her father when he happened to be there.

In a low voice he went again through his mental check list, "Suit, check. Lockpicks, check, passports... one, two, three. Check, Michael O'Leary, Richard Blaine and Douglas Quintaine, all present."

After checking the correct position of his bow-tie Xander rang the doorbell. He didn't have to wait long until Joyce Summers opened the door.

"Hello Xander, come on in. The girls should be ready any minute."

"Thanks Mrs. Summers. I think I'll wait in the kitchen where that great smell is coming from," Xander replied with a grin, his nose capuring the smell of fresh, hot brownies.

Joyce laughed lightly and let him in. "I must say you look excellent in this costume. Who are you. Where did you come from? Your costume I mean."

"Humphrey Bogart to Ingrid Bergman, Casablance, Warner Brothers 1942," Xander replied. With a sheepish grin he continued, "Sorry, just getting into my role a bit too much. My name for tonight is Steele, Remington Steele."
