Spoilers: Only if you don't know the Halloween episode, other than that none.

Category: Crossover, Drabblish

Summary: Another Halloween short story - I wonder if Sunnydale is going to survive the one coming to visit

Feedback: Yes! It is craved like food and absolutely necessary for me to get better so take a moment to write me a few words.

Distribution: Xanderzone, Xanderhalloween, Twisting the Hellmouth and FF.net, all others please ask first, I'll probably say go ahead but it would be nice to know beforehand where my story ends up.

AN: This story is once again a bunny extermination action as the responsible bunny is getting in my way - and I don't even know the series all that well. I need a re-run... or better yet new episodes (which won't happen as the series got canceled... grrr...)

Chapter 1

Xander happily bought the strange looking gun. The slightly strange shopkeeper guaranteed that it was an original prop from the series, but he only wanted five dollars for it, he would even give a police badge as a bonus on top of it. But who was Xander to disagree with such a good price? By paying only that and using some older clothes he had or could scavenge from his relatives he had enough money left to buy a couple of twinkie boxes.

Clad in a charcoal turtleneck, black slacks and a just as black trenchcoat the man with the three day beard looked around in confusion.

"What's going on now? This isn't Chicago. Oh, when I get my hands on the one responsible he's going to be in a world of pain," he promised himsel and the world, angrily staling off into the night on the lookout for the source of the situation and a phone to call Chicago.

Spike sneered at the child, one of the Slayer's little lackeys, that stood on no ten meters from him. Oh that was going to be fun, get a meal and at the same time send a message to the Slayer for free. Maybe he should turn him to make the message get more impact. But first to feed and terrify. He vamped out already anticipating the terror on the boy's face. Then he stopped in confusion.

The boy didn't show any sign of terror, in fact it looked as if he was starting to grin in anticipation as his hand vanished inside the trenchcoat. When it came out again it held a strange looking gun that could have come from some kind of science fiction movie, while drawing the gun a short glimpse of a police badge on his belt was offered.

"Guns don't hurt us," Spike boasted, "Do your worst."

"Oh, I intend to," the police officer replied gleefully. "Do you wnat pain or extra pain?"

Not waiting for a reply he shot the vampire first in the crotch and a few moments later into the chest, the exploding ammunition that could render a gargoyle to rubble making short work of Spike, splattering him messily over his minions. As soon as Spike met his end the minions turned tail and ran as fast as their legs could carry them.

Detective Nick O'Malley close on their heels, from time to time taking pot shots at them reducing their numbers one by one. When the last vampire was down he started looking for other links to hurt and hopefully kill.
