"PLEASEEEEEEEEE?" Xander begged. He had been trying to get Buffy and Willow to wear matching cosutmes to his.. "Come on, please?????"
"Fine! What costumes?" Buffy sighed, the response was a bag in her arms and another in Willow's.
Willow opened her bag to see a cyan colored wig and turned wide eyes on Xander.
"I could have made it blonde?" Xander said, in response to her wide eyes.
"NO!" Willow said, shaking her head rapidly. "Anything but that one."
"See you tonight then."
Joyce opened the door to reveal Xander in blue jeans and what looked like a brown shirt. Hanging from a belt was a wooden sword handle with a purple metal tip on it, his hair braided back. "Hello, Xander." Joyce said, welcomibng the young man into her home. "Who are you?"
"Tenchi Masaki at your service Ma'am." Xander said, bowing. "May I inquire about the wearabouts of the space pirate Ryoko and Princess Ayeka?"
"Right behind you, Lord Xander, and may I say that costume suit you perfectly." Buffy's voice said from behind him.
Xander turned to see Buffy in a purple kimono with a purple wig, and a band of wood around her head, cover her forehead. What took his breath away was Willow. Her cyan colored hair stuck out wildly, showing of elongated ears, a black and red battle suit clung to her every curve, showing off the curves hidden by the clothing she normally wore. His mouth hanging open at the sight caused Buffy and Joyce to break out in giggles. Xander quickly recovered himself and stepped forward, both elbows extended. "May I escort you ladies?"
"My, Lord Xander, how forward of you!" Buffy teased, eliciting a fake blush from Xander. Willow, playing her part, practically tackled Xander.
Ethan finished chanting and went to his window to view the chaos he had created.
Xander, Buffy, and Willow all stumbled as what felt like a cold, biting wind swpt over them.
"What the?" Tenchi said, glancing around in confusions. He was sure he had been home in Japan a few minutes ago.
"Lord Tenchi? Where are we?" Ayeka said, glancing around at the strange town they had found themselves in.
"It looks to be America, Ayeka. Though how we got here is a mystery."
"GET OFF ME YOU FOUL THING!" Ryoko screamed, tossing a mini- demon away from her and blasting two more away.
"Ayeka? You wanna set up a sheild? I'll grab the Lighthawk Wings and see what's happening?" Tenchi asked, already delving into himself and pulling forth the Wings. Ayeka through up a purple dome, forcing back the mini monsters.
"Tell me how to break the spell, Ethan!" Giles hollared, delivering another kick to Ethan's kidneys.
"The bust..."
Even as Giles turned to smash it, a blue energy saber cut through it, destroying it. "Giles, behind you!" Xander yelled, shutting off the sword.
Giles whirled to see Ethan crawling away and knocked the man out before he got 2 feet.
"We still have a slight problem, Giles." Xander said, gesturing into the shadows.
Willow floated out, her body back to normal, except for a pair of golden eyes, she formed a ball of energy before squeezing it to form an energy sword. Beside her Buffy stood, her eyes now purple, she gestured and a purple sheild formed around her before she took it back down. Xander change wasn't as powerful, only his build had changed to one of someone who had spent long hours practicing with a bokken, he concentrated an the Lighthawk Wings appeared forming his armor and another sword as he activated the Tenchi-ken.
"Oh Dear," Giles said, cleaning his glasses vigorously.
"What?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Cordelia Chase screeched. "Your telling me that Geekboy here has a power now! What did I get passed over in that department!"
"I have a feeling that if you had been in a female dog costume you might of gained a power!" Willow sniped.
"YOU! YOU! ARGH!" Redfaced, Cordelia stormed from the library. Xander's and Buffy's mouths hanging open as Giles desperately tried to contain his laughter.
"What?" Willow said, looking at the shocked duo. "At least I didn't blast her!"
"I must find those comics you have, Xander. Perhaps do some research as to this will affect you all." Giles said, not making eyecontact when he said the last bit.
"Sure, G-man," Xander said, inwardly chuckling at the thought of Giles veged out watching Tenchi Muyo."Since I've gained some off his knowledge classes should be easier! The guy's one of the best students, when not saving the world anyway."
"Perhaps you'll finally get a higher grade then a D." Willow said.
"HEY!!!" Xander said. "I'm beginning to think I should have had you dressed as Sasami!"
"You should have had her as Washu, Xander." Buffy said. "Think about it. Washu's a redheaded genius, Willow's a redheaded genius.
"Ahhh, But Ryoko is Washu's daughter! Therefore Ryoko has Washu's brainpower, just doesn't use it!"
"Yes, Xander, but had she been Washu she'd have gained all Washu's knowledge and powers!" Buffy retorted.
"Umm guys? I prefer having been Ryoko, she's more fun." Willow said, breaking up the forming argument. "And at least he didn't make me Mihoshi!" Willow said shuddering, *All my intelligence gone had I been her!*
"Be that as it may, we have a problem.....sort-of." Xander said, opening up his backpack and withdrawing what appeared to be a large, obsidean colored, egg and placing on the research table. He reached back in and pulled out a note, placing it beside the egg. "These were on my bed last night. I thought it would be a good idea if I brought it in."
"What is it, Xander?" Giles asked, cleaning his glasses once again.
"Ryo-ohki..." Willow said.
"No, Wills. The note says her name is Min-ohki. She's a sister to Ryo-ohki. The note is from Washu, saying that the spirits that inhabited us, Tenchi, Ayeka, and Ryoko, told her what happened and she felt that a little help wouldn't hurt. She's also capable of travel between the two dimensions." Xander said, passing the note around. "Giles, the egg is basically a living breathing spaceship in the form of a rabbit and cat genetic cross. Once she hatches she'll be able to assume a spaceship form, however as she ages she'll be able to gain a human-like form. You'll see what I mean in the show."
Willow stood and placed her wrists on oppisite sides of the egg, the red crystals embedded in her wrists touching it. Willow concentrated and let a little of her new power flow into the egg. She pulled her wrists back and sat back down to the confused looks of Buffy and Giles. "I took her out of stasis by giving her my life force to cling to."
The egg rattled slightly a crack forming at the top, causing everyone to look at it in fascination. The cracks spreading, a scraping sound emerged from with in the egg as the top began to crumble. Buffy's and Willow's eyes began to widen in anticapation as Xander and Giles leaned in to watch. Halfway cracked, paws appeared, pushing and pulling it further apart, when, with a large CRACK, the egg sprung apart. A beautiful, tortishelle Cabbit emerged, shacking flacked of the shell of it, it looked around at the attention it was getting it let out an adorable, "Miya!?"
Willow and Buffy gave simultaneous, "awwwww"'s causing Giles to clean his glasses to keep from rolling his eyes, and Xander to nearly groan. "Min-ohki?" Xander asked, tentitively.
"Miya!" The Cabbit responded positively.
"What is the meaning of this!?" Snyder yelled, standing just inside the library doors, startling the four.
Willow let off a bolt of energy that singed what little remained of Snyder's hair, as Buffy formed the sheild in front of them. The Tenchi-ken hissed as it lit up, Xander holding it in a defensive position. Snyder took one look at the three and took off like the cowardly little troll he was. (AN: Apology to trolls for the Snyder comment)
"OPPPSS!" Buffy said, faking guiltyness, before joining Xander and Willow in an impromptu Snoopy dance. Giles took one look at this and burst out laughing.
Spike was grumbling. He had been beaten back last night by the Slayer, Whelp, and Witch. He was going to make them pay, oh yes he was gonna make them pay. Spike moved to get up before collapsing in agony. He almost forgot, once his crotch was healed from that holy, energy blade they would pay. He was considering forgiving the Whelp and letting the Watcher live for the delivery he had gotten in the morning. He laughed as he remembered the note on the chest of the man, "Nothing makes ya better faster than a Chaos mage˜ signed Ripper and X." The mage had indeed been a good meal, especially after finding out the man was the true cause of Spike's neutering.
Xanders sword flashed through the air, decapitating one vamp before plunging into the heart of another. Willow flew around, energy blade decapitating and her new, stronger, body aided her in plunging takes into vamps. Buffy had become a whirlwind of death, her sheild holding off other vamps as she staked them after sending bolts of sheild energy through vampire limps. They had been ambused by 20 vamps, looking for the glory of killing the team that took down so many of their kind.
"Well.. That was fun!" Willow said, the battle rush she had gotten from Ryoko dying down.
"You think Spike's upset about Tenchi's burn?" Xander said, pulling up the memory of the vamps face as the holy energy blade cut into him.
"Your damn right I am, You Bloody Whelp." Spike screamed. "Get 'em, Boys!" Spike yelled, gesturing.
The trio looked around as 70 vampires melted out of the darkness, Game faces on.
"Oh shit!" Xander said.
"Oh shit!"
"You said it!" Buffy said, throwing up a sheild.
Willow phased, her closing becoming the battle suit, small arcs electriity arcing around her as she accessed her gems for her full power. Xander focused and the Wings appeared infront of him, two flowing over his body and forming his armor. Xander grabbed one end of the third wing, causing it to form a sword, even as he brought up the Tenchi-ken and fed his energy into it. Buffy powered up as well, her Jurian armor forming. All three had on war paint, giving them a sinister look, causing the vampires to back off before surging forward. The three leapt into action, Xander's twin blades and Willow's energy blade taking heads off, Buffy's power lancing out, blasting vampires back and staking incapacitated ones. "Buffy!" Xander yelled, tossing the Tenchi-ken into the air.
Buffy somersaulted through the air, and caught the sword before landing. As soo as she touched down she spun decapitating three vampires. Xander called three more wings into existence, formed a new sword to use in place of the Tenchi-ken and sent the other two to plow through the vampires. Xander flowed through the battle, taking heads, arms, feet, legs, and anything else that stuck itself out. Blood ran down his face from a claw that almost removed his face. Willow whirled through the air, catching one of Xander's wings and forming it into another sword. Caught in the blood lust, she didn't feel the slices on her cheek of side, nor the tatters that were all that remained of some parts of the suit. She literally flew through the vampires. As the last Vampire dusted, Spike felt himself impaled four times and a ball of energy in front of his face. "Bloody h-" The Energy from Buffy blasted Spike's head off his shoulders. Willow touched Xander and Buffy and the three phased into the library where they collapsed, instantly unconcious.
Giles stumbled in shock as the three bruised and bleeding forms fell to the floor before flinging open a cabinent and pulling out a first aid kit. "This is gonna take awhile."
"OOOHHHH!!! OWWWWW!!!! EEEE!!!" Xander and Willow said, sitting down in their chairs. having woken up. Buffy was sitting in another looking distinctly uncomfortable. "Did you tell him what happened?"
"Yeah," Buffy said.
"Thanks for patching us up, Giles." Xander said, spotting the Watcher reading an old tome.
"Your welcome."
